Ross Greenwood

Ross Greenwood is the Nine Network's Business and Finance editor. He regularly appears on NATIONAL NINE NEWS, TODAY and NIGHTLINE. He writes regularly for The Bulletin, Money Magazine and ninemsn. He also heads up the business coverage for the Macquarie Radio Network.

Before he joined Nine, Greenwood was editor-in-chief of the British magazine Shares, which he established. The magazine won the British publishing industry's 'launch of the year' award in 2000. He was a regular commentator on the BBC, CNN, Sky News and Bloomberg and was a regular presenter of BBC radio business program, Wake up to Money. In Australia, Greenwood was editor of Business Review Weekly (BRW), Personal Investor and The Age's money section. He created Shares magazine in Australia, and was managing editor.

In the finance industry he was a director of a sharemarket-listed investment company WAM Capital and for six years was chairman of the investment committee of the JUST superannuation fund, the industry fund for journalists and entertainers. His journalism in Australia has also won numerous awards In 1997 he was named Superannuation Trustee of the Year by the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees for his work with this fund.

In 2004 Ross Greenwood was nominated for a Walkley Award for his stories on Telstra's attempted takeover of John Fairfax reports that led to the resignation of the company's former chairman.
